DTD Wins Greek Week
Awards

The 2008 Greek Week Awards Ceremony concluded recently and Delta Tau
Delta was well represented. Of the nine awards distributed to
the campus fraternities, six were taken home by the Delts!
The following were awarded to DTD:
Excellence in
Philanthropy Award
Excellence in Community Service Award
Best New Member Education Program on Campus
Greek Man of the Year - Jeff Skillman
Chapter Adviser of the Year - Bob Andrews
Overall Greek Week Champions - Delta Tau Delta

We are extremely sorry to pass along the news of the death of
Brother Harley V. Haskin, Class of 1933. Harley passed away at
the Olathe Medical Center on January 14, 2008, at the age of 97.
A memorial service for Harley is being held on Saturday, January 19,
at the Grace United Methodist Church in Olathe.

Baker
Graduates Addressed by DTD Alum

Three Gamma Theta Delts were among those who graduated on Sunday,
December 17, 2007, at the Baker University winter commencement
ceremony: Mark Gastelum, Frank Owens, and David McCain. The
group of nearly 600 graduates were also addressed by another former
Baker Delt, brother Neal Malicky '56. To read more or to see a

Alumni Tailgate Party

The first annual Delta Tau Delta Alumni Tailgating Party will take
place on November 3, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the parking lot north of
Emil S. Liston Stadium. All Gamma Theta alums are welcome to
attend as we catch up with old friends and cheer on the BU football
team starting at 1:00 PM as they continue to fight for a position in
the upcoming playoffs. Please RSVP to

We are extremely sorry to pass along the news of the death of
Brother Fred Heine, Class of 1937. Fred passed away at his
home in Platte City, Missouri on August 14, 2007. Fred was 89.

Fall Rush 2007

Fall Rush is set to begin this week and this year is important as
ever. The actives have been working extremely hard to ensure a
strong rush class and they have asked for support from the Gamma
Theta Alumni. On Wednesday evening, August 29, they have
invited the alums to attend rush at the shelter. It will be an
excellent opportunity to demonstrate the importance of life-long
brotherhood and the invaluable networking opportunities that are
attained when you go Greek. Please join us beginning at 7 PM
on August 29 at the shelter in Baldwin City.

We are extremely sorry to pass along the news of the death of
Brother Robert Wheeler. Robert, who attended BU for two years
in the early 1990s, was killed in a work-related accident last week
in Leawood, KS. For more information, please

Alumni Weekend
